Nestled in the Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri, Willow Mountain Mushrooms has been providing gourmet quality mushrooms since 2004.

Using only Natural means to grow our mushrooms we maintain a high quality mushroom FULL of natural flavor not chemicals.

While other producers concentrate on a long shelf life by using chemicals ~

Willow Mountain Mushrooms specializes in delivering fresh picked mushrooms directly to you thereby avoiding the distribution system and the time it sits on your local stores shelf.

In doing this we maintain the mushrooms wonderful natural flavor that many people have told us they have never tasted before in store bought mushrooms.

Organic Produce Co-op

Organic Produce boxes delivered to your home, work, co-op meeting place or pick up point.

We offer a wide variety of boxes starting at the $20 level ~ Basic mixed boxes, veggie only, fruit only, snack/raw eating, juicing, Dried nut and fruit and add on's are available each week.

Each Wednesday we send an email letting you know what to expect in the following weeks box.

Standing orders are highly suggested, but not required. You can customize your standing order each week... or just 'know' that it will be there on your delivery day.

Being centrally located ... we deliver to Mountain Home, Gainesville and Theodosia on Wednesdays and to West Plains and Willow Springs on Thursdays.

Our supplier is unique in its approach to acquiring produce for the Co-op. The founders are farmers that got together in 2005 to create a co-op to help distribute their products. So, what they do is get products from smaller family farms first, many of which have CSA's, and then fill in the blanks with larger organic farms. Our goal is to do the same thing... utilize Ozark growers then fill in the blanks with what the supplier has to offer utilizing the smaller farms that they work with first.

Produce for March 7th and 8th, 2012

Good Afternoon everyone!

I just received our order guide for next weeks delivery and wanted to let you all know what I am planning to get so you have an idea what to expect. I do not have the plan all written out as to what each box will contain. This is what I am ordering, but never know if something will not arrive.

Lots of substance in these boxes... while they won't be bulky - like you get when there are a lot of green leafy things... they will be FULL!

Here is the list of fruit that I am ordering:
Murcott Tangerines (same as what I've been getting these last few deliveries. They are not consistent in size, but they are quite yummy! So, what does it matter!) in all boxes... as add on at $2.60 per pound
Apples: Fuji, Granny Smith and San Rose'
Pears: D'anjou
Kiwi and Bananas
Strawberries 8oz ($2.85) and Blueberries 6oz ($3.35) - in 30+ fruit only boxes and as add ons
Cara Cara Navel orange - I'm sold! These were delicious! Must Have More!
Kent Mango Possibly for $40 and 50 boxes. Definitely for the 30+ Fruit box. Also as add on for $2.25 each.

Butter Leaf Lettuce in Green and in Red ~ all lettuce is $1.50 each added on
Romaine lettuce
Asparagus... going to try again. ordering the small dimension. Add on for $3 per 1/2 pound. In larger 40 and 50 boxes as well as the 30V+.
Green Beans In all boxes and available by the pound at $3.25 per pound.
Broccoli In all boxes and available by the bundle at $2.10 each
carrots
Celery In all boxes and available at $1.50 each
Zucchini
English Peas
Sugar Plum Tomatoes (grape style) Add on for $2.35 and in Larger boxes
Garden (fresh eating) style tomato ~ in larger 30+ boxes and available by the package as an add on. $1.75 per pound. Don't know these will weigh out until they get here. Will let you know what size the package will be. Thinking one pound... but if that doesn't fill the tray may be 1 1/2 - that price would be $2.60. Will let you know on Tuesday next week how that lands. Get your order in to me early as there is a limited quantity available.
Roma Tomatoes ~ standard in all boxes and available by the package.
Yellow #2 potatoes... add on only 5# for $4
Yellow and Red onions - standard in boxes.
Yams add on at 3# for $4.50
Lemon/lime combo $3 a bag (approx 5 lemons/4 limes)
Red beets add on $2.40 per pound
8oz raw Jack Cheese $5.35 each - add on only

Need a half case or a case of something... let me know by Friday for next weeks delivery!

Bread~
As far as I know we should have bread next week. Praying for Rachel's returned health.
She creates the Traditional Artisan Style Sour Dough that does not contain yeast.

regular (reg) sour dough and whole wheat (ww) sour dough

large 2# loaf for $5
When ordering please specify quantity, loaf size and reg or ww.
