Auto orders are also great for us both! You are hands free unless you wish to change something or make additions and I am not sitting waiting for 150+ families to email their order. You can count on your FRESH produce arriving as arranged!
Produce ~ The Details/Policies
Policies
Minimum Orders:
There is NO minimum order for pick up points. Orders under $15 will be assessed a $1 bagging fee.
There is a $20 minimum for FREE home and work delivery within city limits. Under $20 will be assessed a $2 delivery fee within city limits. Outside city limits will depend on where you are and fuel/time needed.
Standing orders:
We LOVE standing orders. They make it a LOT easier to figure things when I am placing my order on Friday. This also equates to less emails from me. :)
Please consider putting in a standing order for a certain box type. You MAY adjust/change your standing order up through the Monday prior to delivery without any problems. I don't mind at all!
For example: Say you wish to be on a standing order for a 20 basic box. On Monday you contact us and change it to a 30 box. NO problem at all! I changed several boxes this week as we were loading! :) ...Please don't count on me having the time to do that every week though.... Never know when a baby will need holding and I just won't be able to do it.
Cancellation:
There is NO fee if you cancel your order the week before - deadline Thursday night. (If you have a standing order please alert me if you are going to be skipping at least a week in advance.)
If you cancel your order after I have placed the group order you will be assessed 50% of what your order total is. This was a very difficult decision to make on my part. However, I've been left holding a perishable product too many times to not instill some sort of policy.
The 50% does NOT cover the cost of the produce - just helps defer it - I most likely will give away your produce so it doesn't go to waste. Our family can not be left with that expense... it is not built into the co-op for other members to do so either. If we did the rate would be so high we would only be helping the wealthy.
Another option might be to buy the box anyway and have us donate it to a homeless shelter! We are already working with churches and shelters in West Plains and Mountain Home. If there is a certain church or shelter that you would like us to take the box to just let us know! (Or even a certain home/family that you know of that could use it.)
I am reminded of a daycare policy in regards to payment. If a child is in daycare the parent pays for the daycare time the child is scheduled regardless as to if the child is able to go. And that is a 'service'... they aren't left having to pay for a product.
I am trying to cut down the amount of time I am spending at the computer. Please help. If you place your order on schedule... by Friday night the week before delivery, that would help a lot.
Auto orders are also great for us both! You are hands free unless you wish to change something or make additions and I am not sitting waiting for 150+ families to email their order. You can count on your FRESH produce arriving as arranged!
If you need to take a week off or change you box size/style... just let us know. No problem! We are easy to work with... having 5 children ourselves we know things are not always easily predicted, to say the least.
Thank you for making this an enjoyable co-op experience!
Blessings,
Wendy
